MBBS Counselling Structure

Admission in MBBS courses in India and abroad is done on the basis of the NEET exam conducted by MCC . The admission process in MBBS courses in India is divided in two parts: all India central counselling ( ALL INDIA QUOTA) & state counselling

All India Quota

First one is All India Quota (AIQ) for 15% seats of all Government medical colleges all across India , 100 % seats of all deemed medical colleges , all AIIMS, all central universities like BHU,AMU and Delhi University ,all ESI’s and AFMC are covered by MCC itself.
To get admission in Armed Force Medical College students need to register in MCC and later they will be called for an Interview and Physical fitness test. After qualifying students the list will be shared to MCC for publication of results.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who qualify the minimum NEET CUT OFF 2022 criteria will be eligible to apply for the counselling
  • Candidates belonging to the state of Jammu and Kashmir will not be eligible to participate in NEET counselling.
  • Minimum 50% marks in PCB for General and for SC/ST/OBC 40%.
  • All candidates, including candidates from the erstwhile state of J&K who have qualified NEET, will be eligible to participate in the AIQ counselling for Deemed Universities.
  • The lower age limit to apply is 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission.

Fee And Charges In All India Counselling

  1. Non-Refundable Registration Fee
  2. Refundable Security Deposit
  • Security deposit is refundable only in the case of non-allotment of seat.
  • Free exit is applicable only in Round 1.
  • In case of allotment in round 1 and candidates wish to go for upgradation in round 2. He or she can go but they can’t exit in Round 2.
  • Security & registration amount will get forfeited in case of exit after allotment in Round 2.

The Right Admission Important Observations :

  • If you register for all India quota counselling , then you are eligible only for 15% govt and 100% deemed university seats , but if you wish to take
    admission in private college of some specific state , then you have to register yourself with that particular state also .
  • Choice filling is an important aspect in all the rounds of counselling. Prioritising colleges in proper order is required.
  • Few Deemed Universities have Bank Guarantee & bond associated and there is less time given for preparing it. We advise our students to carefully opt colleges in Deemed
  • To get Govt. a seat in other state AIQ is the only option.
