Bihar MBBS Counseling

Bihar NEET MBBS counseling for medical & dental program is being conducted by the “bihar combined entrance competitive examination board” commonly known as “bcece”. Bihar NEET MBBS counseling 2021 will be conducted for the 85% government & 100% private medical & dental seats.
There are 3 rounds of counseling process which includes “round 1”, “round 2” both getting conducted online and the third round is “mopup” round also called spot round or physical round, which is conducted offline. If seats are vacant after mop bihar then college round will be conducted, also known as “stray round or college level spot round”
There are 11 government and 8 private medical college in bihar

Types of Seats

• Government seat – Seat offered in the Government Medical/Dental colleges in Bihar. (Only Domicile candidate can apply)
• Private seat – Seat offered in the Private Medical/Dental colleges in Bihar (Both domicile and non-domicile can apply)
• Muslim Minority seat – These seats are reserved in the Muslim Minority Private Medical/Dental Colleges for the Muslim Minority students.
• Sikh Minority seat – These seats are reserved in the Sikh Minority Private Medical Colleges for the Sikh Minority students.

Important Points

• Registration opens only in round 1 and then in mop up only
• Choice locking is mandatory
• For mop up everyone has to apply including previously applied students who did not get a seat.
