Haryana NEET MBBS Counselling for Medical & Dental program is being conducted by The Department of Medical Education & Research, Haryana commonly known as “DMER”.
Haryana is an open state and other state candidates can take part in counselling and admission on the basis of NEET UG score.
In private medical colleges 50% seats are reserved for state domicile candidates whereas the remaining 50 % seats are open for all. And the good thing is that MBBS course fee is same in Haryana for state domicile and non domicile state candidates.
There are 3 rounds of Haryana NEET MBBS Counselling process which includes “Round 1”, “Round 2” both getting conducted online and the third round is “Mop up” round also called spot round or physical round, which is conducted offline. If seats are vacant after mop up then college round will be conducted, also known as “Stray round”.

In the year 2020 Government of Haryana had brought a new resolution and implemented 7 years Service Bond along with bond amount payable every year as a condition for students taking admission in Government Medical College. The main idea behind this decision is to engage fresh graduates to serve in the Government run hospital specifically in the rural areas. Rural service was there earlier as well but putting financial implication is a new methodology to meet the requirement of shortage of Doctors in rural part of India. By doing this students largely from poor backgrounds will be bound to serve as they won’t be able to furnish large amounts by themselves.
Important points of Bond conditions:
Options for Students opting Government Colleges:
Option A – State Government will facilitate for the bond amount in the form of an education loan from a Bank or Financial Institution)
**In this case students have to serve in a Government/Public run hospital for 7 years. Government will repay the amount till the time he/she continues to serve.
Option B – Student can pay the bond amount by themselves
**In this case students can do their own arrangement to pay the bond amount. Such students don’t have to serve any service bond after completion of course.
